Balıkesir Provincial Directorate of Health launched a tender on 12 December 2018 for the purchase of cooking, distribution and dishwashing services, including materials. In the tender published in EKAP (Electronic Public Procurement Platform), the approximate cost of the tender was specified as 12 million 796 thousand TL.
A SECOND TENDER HAS NOT BEEN MADE
In the tender held on December 18, 2018, the highest bid was 25 million 275 thousand TL, and the lowest bid was 18 million 63 thousand TL.
In line with the bids submitted, the directorate signed a contract with the company that offered 18 million 63 thousand TL instead of canceling the tender and making a new tender, although it was far above the cost.
The emergence of signing a contract for 6 million more than the estimated price of the tender caused reactions.
