Turkey : Şevket Kazan’s funeral brought politicians together

Şevket Kazan, a former member of the High Advisory Board and former Justice Minister Şevket Kazan, who died in the hospital where he was treated yesterday, was sent off on his last trip in Hacı Bayram Veli Mosque in Ankara.

Besides the party leaders, many politicians who left the AKP came together for the funeral of Kazan. After the funeral prayer, Kazan was buried in Cebeci Asri Cemetery.

In his speech at the funeral, Lütfü Doğan, former President of Religious Affairs, stated that his acquaintance with Şevket Kazan began in 1965 and said, “For many years, he continued together. May Allah be pleased with you and him. “Honest, fair, fatty, knowledgeable, jurist.” Then the funeral coffin was carried by President Erdoğan, Speaker of the Assembly, Sentop, 11th President Abdullah Gul.
