The number of additional appointments that can be made by public institutions and organizations, either openly or by transfer, in 2020, was determined by the decision made by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, prepared by the joint work of the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Services, the Directorate General of Labor and the Presidency Strategy and Budget Presidency.
In the statement made by the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Services, it was stated that such appointments would be supportive in order to prevent the public services from being disrupted during the fight against the new coronavirus and to carry out effective struggle. It was also reminded that in February 2020, a total of 1,066 appointments were allowed, 635 of which were to universities and 431 to other institutions.
In the Ministry’s statement, “The number of additional personnel to be appointed publicly or by the method of transportation for 2020 was determined by the letter of our President. Within this scope, 6219 Public Institutions and Organizations were given the authority to appoint 6,219. ” statements took place.
Under the decision, 1,016 additional appointments will be made to 127 universities. Thus, by 2020, universities will make 1,651 total appointments with open and transplant methods, and 6,650 additional assignments in total.
