20 CASE DETERMINED AT THE MIGRANT CAMP

The Ministry of Migration announced that Malakasa, 40 km northeast of Athens, will remain in quarantine for two weeks, and that the restrictions will be implemented by the police. On Thursday, the Ritsona camp in the central region of Greece was quarantined after 20 positive cases were detected.

Aid organizations are calling for the evacuation of migrants from the camps on the islands in case the virus spreads rapidly due to overcrowding and hygiene shortage.
