I met with the Metropolitan Mayors in Adana and Mersin, I watched what they did, how these actions were applied to the citizens and how they gave results.
It would not be wrong to say that Zeydan Karalar, in Adana, was sitting with the Metropolitan Municipality authority with a debt of 4.5 billion TL and was almost unable to breathe in the past year due to both the debts and the number of opposition members in the parliament.

Mayor Karalar, who tried to save the municipal expenses by reducing the rational policies he continued, managed to equalize the budget in a year, that is, to equalize his income and expenses.
Don’t get me wrong, it doesn’t show that the municipality is out of debt or is on the plus. However, the municipality with 60 million TL deficit per month was an important indicator in terms of equalizing the income and expense table.
Likewise, in Mersin, Vahap Seçer was paying more than 2 billion TL in the municipality, and was trying to produce miracles in order to produce services.
Both Presidents were trying to produce services despite their limited possibilities.
On the other hand, they were trying to face the harsh opposition …

I personally examined the work of municipalities in Adana and Mersin.
I can say that both presidents have now devoted their entire sema to the fight against the epidemic.

The government should immediately support especially the Metropolitan Municipalities in this regard…
