The incident occurred on the Mevlana Boulevard in Ankara’s Yenimahalle district.
Bus driver Murat C. suspected of a passenger taking the 06 BE 7410 plate EGO bus going to Gölbaşı-Ulus-15 July Kızılay reported the situation to the police.
Measures were taken around the bus stopped by police teams at EGO stops opposite the intercity bus terminal (AŞTİ).
As part of the measures, other passengers on the bus were lowered while maintaining social distance.
The situation was later informed to 112 Emergency Service teams. The suspect passenger was never contacted until the medical teams arrived.
The medical teams who came to the scene took the suspect passenger with an ambulance to the hospital.
The bus was taken to the garage to be disinfected.
“ALCOHOL WAS HEADED BY MY HEAD”
Muharrem Doğan, one of the eyewitnesses in the bus, said:
* I got off work and got on the bus from Gölbaşı normally.
* As soon as the friend got on, we asked for a card and said, ‘We don’t have a card.
* Then we came to AŞTİ and the police stopped the bus.
* Inside, the driver asked several times. ‘Are you alcoholic?’ ‘No alcohol, my head hurts, ‘he said.
* There were suspicious moves.
* He had a mask in his mouth, but he was covering his head.
* He was trying to hide his face.
