The incident that occurred in Cumhuriyet Mahallesi last night developed as follows:
Halil T., the security guard of a private bank, went to the house of his wife, Banu T., who had been a separate teacher for a month. He took a hostage with his pistol, his two children and his neighbor, who was the guest of his wife.
Police teams were dispatched to the address upon the notice of the neighbors who heard the noise. The street was closed for precautionary purposes and special movement police were called. Halil T. first resisted the police trying to persuade him. While the police were preparing to enter the building, they said they would surrender through the window and left the people who took hostages.
“I LOST MYSELF”
Halil T., who was detained, was transferred to the courthouse this morning after his operations at the police. Halil T., who was brought to court after his statement at the prosecution, said in his statement: “We have been living separately with my wife for a month. I came home that day to make peace. However, when my wife refused, the discussion arose. I lost myself. I did something like that from jealousy. ”
The court released Halil T. on condition of judicial control. (DHA)
