The mayors of the 11 metropolitan cities, which came together at regular intervals, held a virtual meeting today with the coordination and participation of CHP Deputy Chairman Seyit Torun.
After the meeting, Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş, Izmir Metropolitan Mayor Tunç Soyer, Adana Metropolitan Mayor Zeydan Karalar, Eskişehir Metropolitan Mayor Yılmaz Büyükerşen, Aydın Metropolitan Mayor ÖzlemESevioğlu, Antalya Metropolitan Mayor Muhittin Böcek , Muğla Metropolitan Mayor Osman Gürün, Mersin Metropolitan Mayor Vahap Seçer, Tekirdağ Metropolitan Mayor Kadir Albayrak and Hatay Metropolitan Mayor Lütfi Savaş have published a joint statement.

11 mayors made the following statement after the meeting
* We congratulate the 19 May Commemoration of Youth and Sports Day, the herald of the day when a nation stood up to save its country from occupation and to establish an independent state. We live and live this great day in the conditions of combating the pandemic outbreak with the most meaningful activities in appropriate channels.
