After ruling Sudan for more than 30 years, he made a flash statement about Ömer al-Bashir, who was overthrown last year, by the country’s anti-corruption institution.
According to Bloomberg’s report, Salah Manaa, a spokesperson for the Committee on Combating Corruption and Distributing the Regime, said, “According to our preliminary data, the assets of al-Bashir and his family seized in different companies and buildings are between $ 3.5 billion and $ 4 billion.”
IT WILL TAKE THE INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL TABLE
After the protests that started in the country last year, al-Bashir, who was dismissed from the military coup, was imprisoned on the grounds that he illegally transferred millions of dollars to his personal account.
El-Bashir, who ruled the country from 1989 to 2019, will go to the International Criminal Court for committing human crime in the west of Darfur.
