Governorship of Kayseri made a statement on the subject. The statement stated that Çokça Plateau is among the protected areas included the following statements:
* There have been reports in some media organs and social media accounts that our nomads were not taken to Çokça Plateau in Tomarza District.
* Çokça Plateau is a region located on the Anatolian Diagonal line and is located within the protected areas due to the high number of endemic plants.
* The area in question was closed to animal grazing by the Forestry Organization in 2020 due to the protection of endemic plants.
* Our nomads were notified that no animals would be taken to graze in this area before coming here and alternative areas were shown to them.
* They agreed to settle in the Kurubel Plateau in the district of Tomarza, and our nomads started to graze by setting up their tents in the region where our citizens, who live in Arslantaş village, livestock in our Tomarza district.
