The Presidency of Religious Affairs announced on March 16 that mosques will not be prayed in congregation under the corona virus measures. However, with the normalization process, starting Friday, May 29, Friday prayers will be performed in the gardens of the mosques.
Elazig Governor Pavement asked citizens to comply with the social distance rule before the Friday prayer, which will be held tomorrow.
“OUR CITIZENS BRING YOUR SECCADES SIDE”
Governor Pavement used the following statements in his statement;
* Friday prayers will be performed in 676 mosques and venues throughout our city. All preparations were made for our citizens to perform healthy and peaceful prayers.
* We strongly remind our citizens who will perform Friday prayers to take their ablutions, to bring their own prayer rugs, to wear masks, to follow the rule of distance and to stay home if they feel sick or any symptoms.
* Let’s not forget that it is an important duty not to harm others as much as prayer. Let’s obey the rules and precautions, let’s not enter the right of servant.
