İbrahim Gökçek, a member of Grup Yorum, lost his life in the hospital where he was taken after a break from the death fast he entered. There was tension when the body was removed from Gazi Cemevi to be sent to Kayseri. Police forces detained 43 people after the incidents.
REMAINS FREE WITH FORENSIC CONTROL
26 of the suspects were released after their statements were taken in the police. 17 suspects, whose procedures were completed at the Security Branch Directorate in Vatan Street, were transferred to the Palace of Justice in Çağlayan in the evening.
15 of the 17 people whose statements were taken by the Office of the Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office of Terrorism and Organized Crime, who were investigated, were sent to the Istanbul Magistrate’s Court of Peace with the request of being arrested on charges of “membership of an armed terrorist organization”.
All 2 suspects were sent to this court with a request for judicial control. After the proceedings, 17 suspects who were brought to court were released on condition of judicial control. DHA
