After the corona virus epidemic was taken under control in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), it was decided to apply a 14-day quarantine to citizens who will travel to the country between 8 June and 1 July. The government has announced that 4 thousand 400 TL will be charged from the citizens who come as quarantine costs.
4 THOUSANDS PER PERSON 400 TL
TRNC Finance Minister Olgun Amcaoğlu reminded that those who are not TRNC citizens but who live in TRNC, study, employees or those with a similar leave will be subject to 14-day quarantine.
Minister Amcaoğlu stated that the quarantine fee is determined as 4 thousand 400 TL per person. Amcaoğlu stated that the quarantine fee includes accommodation, meal and PCR test to be done after quarantine.
UNIVERSITY STUDENTS WILL BE EXCLUDED
The minister announced that university students studying will not be subject to quarantine fees. Amcaoğlu stated that students studying in universities and equivalent schools in the TRNC will undergo a quarantine process in the dormitories determined by their university administrations.
Minister Amcaoğlu stated that the quarantine fees will be deposited to Ziraat Bank, and that the receipts should be presented to the TRNC representatives abroad. IHA
