Turkey : 600-digit village quarantined in Kayseri

The village was put into quarantine for cautionary measures after the findings of Covid-19 (corona virus) were found in a family living in the village of Akmescit with a population of 600 thousand and 900, located at the 45th kilometer of Kayseri – Malatya highway.

While 2 ambulances going to the village are taking Ersen A., Zeynep A., Cemal A. and Menşure A. from the same family to the hospital, it was decided to quarantine the village with the decision of the Provincial Sanitary and Health Directorate.

While the entrance and exit to Akmescit (Zezerek) village was closed, the gendarmerie took measures on the road. The gendarmerie warned the village headman that the citizens should not go out and touch. (IHA)
