Atakan Yüklü, a geophysical engineer carrying out his studies in Antalya, noted that there are earthquake storms in the Mediterranean region, especially in the island of Crete. Loaded, 7-magnitude earthquake is expected in the Helen Spring Fault Line in the Mediterranean, due to the aftershocks in the region.

Explaining that the aftershocks that occurred especially in the island of Crete are actually an earthquake storm, Atakan Yüklü said:
* In the historical period, the African Plate from the part of Crete Island, which we call Helen Spring in this region, dives here below Anatolia and Anatolia. Sheets are jamming.
* Earthquakes produced here will be the harbinger of larger earthquakes in the future. Because when we look at the historical process, we see that there are more than 7 major earthquakes in this region and even a 3-5 meter high tsunami has occurred. Explaining that Leonardo da Vinci observed the earthquake near Rhodes in 1489, Atakan Yüklü noted:

* Because rural buildings are not strong enough to handle a possible earthquake intensity. The structures in the coastal areas of Kumluca, Finike, Alanya, where liquefaction is high in the marshy grounds, need to be urgently improved and examined. ”
EARTHQUAKE SCIENCE BOARD RECOMMENDATION
Atakan Yüklü said:
* In the coastal areas of Antalya, Kumluca, Finike, Kaş, Alanya and Aksu should be examined by geophysicists urgently in the coastal areas of Antalya, rather than the discussion of whether there will be an earthquake in this region.
* An ‘Earthquake Science Board’ needs to be established among the metropolitan municipalities. Earthquake scientists, geophysics, geology engineers, archaeologists and historians should also be present in the Earthquake Science Board.
* What to do before and after the earthquake, a ground map needs to be created. In this way, we think that we can survive any earthquakes with minimal damage.
