The incident occurred at noon in rural Kıratlı Neighborhood. Married and father of one child, Vedat A. (29), who is claimed to have psychological problems, hung himself on the ceiling in the carpentry workshop where he worked.
When his relatives who could not get news for a while went to the workshop, he found Vedat A. hanging on the rope. Health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene upon the notification of their relatives. It was determined that Vedat A. lost his life in the control made by the health officials.
Vedat A.’s body was removed to the morgue of the Izmir Forensic Medicine Institute after an investigation at the scene. (DHA)
