Professor Zhao Jianping, President of the Wuhan Corona Virus Medical Treatment Group, announced the worrying findings regarding the results of the COVID-19 tests. The test analysis of the patients, which turned out to be negative twice, became positive after discharge. These patients were recorded to be infected twice.
Speaking to Beijing News, Zhao Jianping explained this with the flaws of the tests, possible errors of laboratory technicians, and the characteristics of some patients’ organisms. However, he could not say anything definite about whether the disease relapsed or re-infected.
VIRUS MAY NOT BE COMPLETELY FROM THE BODY
According to Jianping, the reasons for this may be shown that the virus is not completely released from the body or that enough antibodies are not produced.
Jianping stated that all patients should be quarantined for an additional 14 days after discharge.

According to the report in Sputnik, Zhao Jianping also said about the course of the disease:
* The beginning is relatively soft, but after 7-10 days, the critical phase begins with chest tightness, lung damage, and high fever.
* If the patient receives adequate treatment during this period, the result may be positive. However, since the hospitals in Wuhan are very crowded, the disease has gone to an irreversible stage for many.
