In the statement made by the Van Governorate, it was stated that after a person from the Gülçek family who resided in the Edremit district Eminpaşa neighborhood Health Exit street died after a heart attack, his brother who came from outside the province was taken under quarantine for 14 days at home by the necessary operations.
The statement continued as follows:
* However, despite the family’s condolence, close relatives came together at the funeral home and violated the social distance rules.
* When the person who came to Van on the death of his brother from outside the province was disturbed and applied to the hospital on May 15, 2020, when the corona virus test was positive, the healthcare teams tested the family members and those who came to the funeral home.
* As a result of the studies carried out by the health teams, corona virus was detected in 9 of the members of the Gülçek family living in the Edremit district of Eminpaşa Mahallesi, Sağmaz Street, and 3 of the same family living in the İpekyolu district Yalınağaç neighborhood.
* In the researches made by the radiation teams for the identification of the people in contact with the patient, 232 people have been reached so far and tested. IHA
