Countries extend the duration of measures taken within the scope of combating corona epidemic. The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Council of Ministers announced that the measures taken to combat the corona virus outbreak were extended until April 30.

The Council of Ministers said that the markets will be closed at 20.00 in TRNC and pharmacies will continue to operate from 08.00 to 13.30 until the end of the month. The Board announced that the restrictions applied in 3 villages in Karpaz, its region and the police checkpoints at the entrances and exits of Lapta and Alsancak villages were removed, and that the Turks living in Pile will be tested for corona virus.
Kudret Özersay, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the TRNC, stated in the statement made after the meeting of the council of ministers that the sectors that are closed due to the epidemic also exchange views about when and when they can be opened, carried out with the officials of the Ministry of Economy and Energy, Ministry of Health and Ministry of Labor and Social Security.
