Applications for Vertical Transfer Exam (2020-DGS) to be held on August 9, 2020 within the scope of Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) are starting today. Applications for the DGS exam applied for graduates of Vocational Schools and Open Education Associate Degree programs to undergraduate education will continue until June 17, 2020. Applications can be made online via Candidate Transactions System (AİS) ais.osym.gov.tr.

APPLICATION CONDITIONS
Candidates who will apply for vertical transfer to higher education programs are required to have graduated from vocational schools and open education associate degree programs. Candidates who are in the last year and fulfilled the graduation requirements other than the internship can also apply. Candidates who have graduated from abroad and whose equivalence is accepted under the same conditions as the senior students and graduates of Turkish Vocational Schools of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) can also apply to DGS. Vocational school senior students and graduates must enter DGS if they want to transfer vertically to their special talent exam or undergraduate programs that accept students with the central system. Vertical transfer to undergraduate programs that accept students with a special talent exam is also done centrally according to the principles in this guide. Those who have received or will receive a bachelor’s degree from programs with four or more years of education, including open education, cannot apply to DGS.
APPLICATION PROCESS
Candidates who wish to take the exam can access the Candidate Application Form via the Guide from the ÖSYM’s website at the address of ÖSYM. The distribution and sale of guides will not be made. Applications will be received electronically.
– Candidates who have a valid photograph (*) and valid training information (**) in the ÖSYM Candidate Transactions System will be able to apply individually via the internet (https://ais.osym.gov.tr) or through an application center of their choice.
– Candidates who do not have a valid photo and / or educational knowledge in the ÖSYM Candidate Procedures System will make their applications from an application center.
* Valid Photo: A photo taken from any application center within the past 50 months and not rejected by ÖSYM is a valid photo.
* * Valid Education Information: Education information is originated from the Higher Education Information System (YÖKSİS) or ÖSYM archive and there is no correction in this information. Candidates will complete their applications by depositing the exam fee after registering the application information in the system.
Candidates will pay the exam fee to one of the banks mentioned on the last page of the manual or by credit card / debit card within the application period from the “PAYMENTS” field on eSYM’s website. Candidates who want to pay a fee by going to the bank and T.C. to state that they will deposit their ID number and exam fee, T.C. They need to check ID Number, name, surname and exam name information and keep the receipt. If the candidates wish, they can pay the bank through internet banking without going to the bank branches.
