Turkey : Flash development in Corona virus: pharmaceutical companies declined years ago

It turned out that a step taken to prevent the corona virus, which caused a global panic after it appeared at the end of December, was ignored 3 years ago.

It was understood that The Guardian, one of the UK’s most widely read newspapers, suggested that the European Union recommended rapid development of vaccines against pathogens such as corona virus to the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies 3 years ago, but this offer was rejected by giant companies.

DRUG COMPANIES IN THE MANAGEMENT WERE NOT LOOKING HOT
It was stated that the representatives of the European Commission submitted this offer in an organization called the Innovative Pharmaceutical Initiative (IMI), and it was stated that, “With this research and project, it is proposed to develop vaccines against the pathogens and to make legal arrangements before the emergence of a possible epidemic”. However, it has been reported that the pharmaceutical companies working in the European based research organization named IMI do not look at this idea.

In the report prepared by the Brussels-based research company COE, it was determined that this scandal occurred when all the decisions taken by the IMI board of directors were examined. IMI, which received a budget of 5 billion dollars from the European Union and received support from both public and private companies, was responsible for conducting medical experiments across Europe.
