Allegedly, Ş.K arguing with her mother took her mother out of the house, then locked herself inside and set the house on fire.
Many citizens, health and firefighters were dispatched to the scene after the citizens who saw the smoke rising from the house asked for help from 112 emergency call centers.

Firefighters who broke the door of the house and intervened in the fire found Ş.K unconsciously.
After the first intervention to Ş.K at the scene by the health teams, he was taken to Fethiye State Hospital by ambulance. Despite interventions in Ş.K in the hospital, he could not be saved. (IHA)
