The Greek government, the Turkey-Greece Evros River forms the border announced that it has decided to expand the barrier and the fence at his side.

208 KILOMETER BARRIER
Greek media, on the other hand, stated that the Athens government will set up a 26-kilometer fence at different points of the Meriç River and Athens plans to create a 208-barrier in total. It is stated that the fence will be completed within a few months.
It is stated that there is already a 12-kilometer fence north of the border line in the Evros region.
