Blow to fake alcohol smugglers who want to turn the Covid-19 outbreak into an opportunity in Antalya. Antalya Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch Directorate teams carried out operations against the smugglers in Serik, Döşemealtı and Muratpaşa districts.
In the raids, 4 thousand 140 bottles of fake alcohol, 16.8 tons of fugitive fuel oil, 648 boxes of fugitive hookah tobacco were seized. While 4 suspects were detained in the operation, it was determined that the suspects would put fake alcohol in the disinfectant bottles used for cleaning purposes of a famous brand and put them on the market. It was stated that 4 suspects who were brought to court were arrested.
