Turkey : Its existence was known, but it was viewed for the first time

Nature Conservation and National Parks Kahramanmaraş Branch Directorate placed photo traps in many places in mountainous and rural areas to protect wild animals and follow their populations.

The photocaps that display many animals to date have recently been fitted with striped hyena and badger, whose presence is known in the region, but has never been seen so far.

The lynx, wild goat, partridge and wolf were viewed by photo traps, except for the striped hyena that did not attack the flocks and humans and fed with carrion.
