The Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) shared the latest information on the earthquake in Elazig.
In the statement made by AFAD, it was said:
* After the 6.8 magnitude earthquake, 533 aftershocks occurred, 19 of which were over 4 in size.
* The needs of citizens affected by the earthquake are met in the region and damage assessment analyzes are carried out in the region.
* A total of 3,733 personnel work in the field.
* NGOs and volunteer teams consisting of 108 people also support professional teams.
AFAD announced that there was a 5.1 magnitude earthquake in the Sivrice district of Elazig at 19.30 at a depth of 15.71 kilometers. After the 5.1 magnitude earthquake, two more earthquakes with 4.4 and 4.3 magnitude occurred at 19.44. 5.1 magnitude earthquake occurred during the investigation of President Erdogan in Doğanyol district of Malatya, which was affected by the earthquake. Erdogan said, “We just had aftershock at 5.1 power. This means that these aftershocks continue. ” IHA
