It was announced with the Presidential decision that additional customs duties were imposed on more than 800 products. Construction equipment and agricultural machines include cranes and some iron and steel products.
Additional taxes will be applied at a rate of 30 percent until September 30 and up to 10 points after October 1.
It was stated that the decision was made to reduce the negative effects of the Covid-19 outbreak on the economy and to protect the domestic industry against import pressure.
