In the post made on the official Twitter account of the municipality, it was announced that the General Directorate of Water and Sewerage Administration (ASKİ) will not cut water for two months for citizens who owe water bills in their housing subscriptions within the scope of hygiene measures.

Citing the relevant share of the municipality, Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş also said the following:

* Within the scope of our hygiene measures, water shortage will not be made for two months for our citizens who have water debts in their housing subscriptions by our ASKI General Directorate.

CORONA MEASURES

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) continues its activities throughout the province for the prevention of respiratory disease and control measures. After the Ministry of Health announced that the new type of coronavirus (COVID-19) test results in one person in our country was positive, information about the studies on disease prevention in Ankara was shared with the public.

Stating that hygiene studies are continuing throughout the city and in the municipality campus, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality stated the following information about the works carried out within this scope:

* Necessary attempts have been made with the Ankara Provincial Health Directorate and the Provincial Directorate of National Education for the measures to be taken.

* Culture and art activities organized by our Municipality have been temporarily suspended in order to protect the people of Ankara against coronavirus and epidemics.

WHO RECEIVES THE PANDEM

Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director General of the World Health Organization (WHO), held a press conference with the Corona virus (Covid-19) agenda at the headquarters in Geneva.
