In the attack organized by PKK terrorists against the car of Mayor Veysi Işık on June 9, 2017 in Kozluk district of Batman, music teacher Şenay Aybüke Yalçın, who went to his home after he distributed his report card, was seriously wounded and martyred in the hospital where he was removed.
Şenay Aybüke Yalçın, whose name was kept alive in the district, which was the first place of duty, while she was a 7-month-old teacher, lived in schools, classrooms, streets and libraries, had also established a throne in the hearts with her Famagusta song.

The name of Yalçın was given to the orchestra hall in Ahmet Keleşoğlu Education Faculty Music Teaching Department where he studied. The violin of the martyr teacher was also donated to the orchestra hall named after his family.
