Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan stated that the customs gates opened to Iran and Iraq, especially Habur and Gürbulak, which have been closed for some time due to the Covid-19 pandemic, which are affecting the whole world, have been reopened for international freight transportation.
Pekcan’s statement is as follows:
* In the fight against Covid-19, restrictions previously applied to these countries have been lifted due to the slower spread of contamination worldwide and the effects of the pandemic in Iraq and Iran.

* Thus, the entry and exit of commercial vehicles will be allowed again by taking the health and safety measures implemented at our other customs gates.
* The major trading partners of Turkey and Iraq, along with the reopening of our international freight forwarding Iran to the customs gate, which was commissioned to prevent the disruption of our trade “trade gap” will be given at the end of practice.

Minister Pekcan announced in a television program he attended yesterday that Habur and Gürbulak remained as closed border gates. Pekcan said, “I hope we are opening these two doors this week.”
