According to the BBC Turkish report from the Wall Street Journal, Pfizer Chairman Albert Bourla stated that the vaccine tests started in Germany and that if the permission is granted, it may start in the USA next week.
Expressing that the results of the tests can be obtained next month, Bourla said that more tests should be done to make sure the vaccine is safe.
Stating that if the tests are successful, Pfizer can start vaccination delivery for emergencies in the autumn, Bourla stated that he can obtain a broader distribution license at the end of the year. “We are currently in a crisis and everyone is waiting for a solution,” Bourla said in a statement about the vaccine.
