Millions of students studying in both public and private schools receive distance education due to the epidemic. The parents of 11 students in the age group of 4 who are enrolled in the kindergarten of a private education institution in Erenköy have sent a written request to the school administration, where they pay 40-50 thousand TL per student.
REQUESTED THE REFUND OF THE FEE
Parents, who thought that the desired efficiency could not be achieved in distance education due to the Corona virus, asked for a certain amount of the fee they paid and the return of unused stationery.
The parents started to wait after the e-mail message they sent on April 28. While the parents experienced the first shock when they saw the money deposited in their bank accounts, the school returned 12-13 thousand TL to each parent’s account.
SENT ITEMS TO CARE BY CARGO
In addition to the money for the remaining months of education, another 58 thousand 320 TL was paid to a parent’s account for the next year. The second shock to the parents, who could not get any information from the school, was that the school administration sent all the belongings belonging to the students by shipping in a box.
The parents then complained to the school’s Ministry of Education. Parents are also preparing to file a moral compensation case for the school.
“IT WAS A GREAT SHOCK FOR MY GIRL”
He explained that they had experienced a parent whose child was thrown from the school and why they complained;
* This was a big shock for us, a big shock for my daughter. As a result of a decision made by the school management, they are now in a period that they are deprived of their teachers and friends in the distance education of children and spend only at home with what we do. It was sad.
* In this case, I applied to such a way to have a preliminary information about the educational institution where parents and mothers will learn and send this situation rather than seeking a solution.
* I do not have any requests or requests from my educational institution. We waited for an explanation. We could not get this explanation. I don’t think we can get it after this time. But since I think this situation should be known, I attempted such a move.
“A SENSITIVE VERY SORROWING SITUATION”
Hikmet Güngör, the lawyer of the parents of 5 students who were expelled from the school, said the following;
* After the corona epidemic, after the schools started to provide distance education services, the parents, including my clients, send their thoughts to the school, “How can we get through this process together?”
* While writing these thoughts, they demand the rate hike for the next year not to be 19 percent, but to WPI-CPI. Some demand that the unused material be returned to them.
* Because these are kindergarten students, there are materials used in the studies. Others send an e-mail saying they think their fees should be returned. While doing this, the parents of the students studying in the whole class send together.
* They don’t say anything commanding. They just send an e-mail saying “we think so”. When they try to enter the distance education system the next day, they see that the whole class has been expelled from the system.
* The school has been deleted, you cannot log in to the system. After that, they send all the items of the children to their homes by cargo after 3-4 days. Unfortunately, it is very sad. DHA
