Esenyurt Municipality increased its aid to low income families living in the district during the corona virus epidemic. Milk and cheddar cheese was started to be given to the families receiving food parcel help.
It is planned to deliver milk and cheddar cheese to 60 thousand families who receive social assistance in the first place, and to more families in the coming period. Tools for milk and cheddar cheese distribution requiring cold chains were specially designed. The milk to be delivered to the families receiving food aid was prepared from the farm and prepared as pasteurized without breaking the cold chain.

The first milk delivery vehicle set out to distribute aid was sent off by Esenyurt Mayor Kemal Deniz Bozkurt. Stating that social benefits will continue to increase, Bozkurt drew attention to the difficulties of the pandemic process.

Bozkurt said, “We will come out from these difficult days. There are many problems in the pandemic process. We try to help as food. We have finished the preparations to offer approximately 180 thousand liters of milk to our needy citizens along with other food parcels and 60 thousand pieces of cheese. We are in a position to reach a thousand of our citizens every day. ”
Bozkurt said that after the milk distribution, they will start distributing meat, chickpeas, lentils, beans, potatoes, onions and nuts.
