Instead of the system implemented since 2012, the method of “biometric face and voice recognition with mobile phone” will be put into use. People will be monitored and identified by phone and the condition of going to the police station for signature will be removed.
Fatih Güngör, Head of Department of the General Directorate of Criminal Affairs and Detention Houses, Ministry of Justice, said that the name of the new system would be ‘Biometric signature-Biosis’.
While determining where the person is from the HTS records, they will be asked to verify the signal sent for face and voice recognition.
Güngör said, “When we implement this method, convenience will be provided for convicts. A method suitable for human rights. It will be a method that convicts prefer. ”
