The incident occurred in the center of Izmit around 18:00.
Passengers who saw that E.F. on the tram did not wear a mask warned. When the tram arrived at the Halkevi station, the situation was transferred to the security guards at the station.
A woman, one of the security guards, warned by going to E.F., saying that it is mandatory to wear a mask and that she cannot travel without a mask.
E.F., then the security guard, who warned him at once, grabbed the woman’s hair and hugged her throat.
While E.F. battered the security guard, passengers reported the situation to the police. Police teams came to the station immediately, detained E.F.
