Due to the corona virus outbreak occurring in China and affecting the whole world, many countries are increasing the measures they have taken in the fight against the epidemic, Azerbaijan has decided to extend the quarantine measure that is expected to end on April 20 until May 4.
In the statement made by the Azerbaijani Prime Ministry, it was reported that all the exits to and from the country, including passenger transportation, local flights, land and air transportation during the quarantine period, excluding cargo transportation.
While the Prime Ministry stated that education was suspended until May 4 in all educational institutions, it announced that a progressive exit plan from quarantine will be prepared after 4 May and the necessary information will be shared with the public.
The total number of corona virus cases in Azerbaijan reached 373 thousand and the number of people who lost their lives reached 18. While 590 people in Azerbaijan have been discharged by overcoming the virus, more than 85 thousand people have been tested for corona virus so far. (IHA)
