In the Ulukışla district of Niğde, the municipality took local measures against the corona virus. Ulukışla Mayor Ali Uğurlu and the municipal staff invited the public to burn the incense called “sadness”, which is specific to the Niğde region, in front of the city hall.
In the statement made by the municipality, “We smoke our incense in Turkish customs and traditions to get rid of this corona virus that collapses on our country, which is known as sadness among the people. Our only wish is that this nation should leave the earth as soon as possible ”.
