Turkey : Three ministries decided! They will work from home

In the statement made by the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Services, the Ministry of Treasury and Finance and the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the following statements were included;

* In order to benefit from the exemptions and incentives of companies operating in Technology Development Zones (TGB) and companies with R&D and Design Centers within the framework of Law No. 4691 on Technology Development Zones, Law No. 5746 on Supporting Research, Development and Design Activities, and related regulations. It is imperative that they carry out R&D and design activities physically within these areas.

* Within the scope of the measures taken due to the epidemic risk, Covid 19 made a joint decision by the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Services, the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, and the Ministry of Industry and Technology.

* Technopark companies and R&D Design Centers will be able to continue to benefit from exemption incentives until the end of April 2020 by informing the Ministry of Industry and Technology monthly regarding the number of personnel they deem suitable for working from home.

* With this two-month ‘temporary’ application; The way for companies working in TGBs and personnel working in R&D and Design Centers to work from home has been opened.

* These companies are empowered to take the necessary measures to work remotely, taking into account the existing staff structure. IHA
