The decision announced 2 hours before the ban started, caused anger. Citizens who went out on the streets without a mask and cautiously flocked to markets and bakeries. From time to time there were unwanted events that came to fight.
Minister Soylu, who stated that they announced the decision late in order to avoid confluence, attempted to resign from his post when criticism was the target. However, Soylu’s resignation decision came back from Saray. It was announced by the Minister of the Interior on the evening of June 4, where the curfew, which has been continuing since April 10 and the number of provinces decreased gradually, will continue for 15 provinces.
SOYLU PROHIBITED ERDOĞAN CANCELED
The ban, which contradicted the normalization process that started on June 1, caused a big reaction in the society. Because many people bought tickets for travel, restaurants and cafes that opened their doors were prepared for the weekend.
