When will the courthouses open?

One of the Corona virus being the first institution in Turkey was also closed courthouses. The courthouses, which were visited by thousands of people every day throughout the country, were closed and the court dates were delayed. According to the plan prepared by the Ministry of Health, the courthouses will be opened in the middle of June. Deferred enforcement cases will begin to appear from this date.

Due to the closed courthouses, the courts cannot be seen or decided. Minister Gül had said that work was underway to make the courts by video. According to the Criminal Procedure Code, in cases where the detention is mandatory, the detainees attend the hearing via SEGBİS.
