An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.8 was at 6.75 kilometers depth of the ground at 20.55 hours in the Sivrice district of Elazig. The earthquake was felt in Diyarbakır, Mardin, Gaziantep, Malatya, Tunceli and many other cities.
An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 was 10.62 kilometers deep at 21.17 hours in the Baskil district of Elazig.
On the other hand, in Pütürge district of Malatya at 22.03, an earthquake of 4.6 magnitude, 7 kilometers deep, occurred.
While the earthquakes caused great panic in the city, the people took to the streets. AFAD, fire brigade, police, gendarmerie and health teams were sent to the notification areas.
