Ekrem İmamoğlu, the Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), made field investigations after his visit and presentation to Şişli Municipality.
The first stop of İmamoğlu, accompanied by Şişli Mayor Muammer Keskin, was the Regional Employment Office opened by İBB in Izettepaşa. İmamoğlu, who met and greeted the employees, Dr. İBB Regional Employment Offices General Coordinator. He received information from Ali Doğanay.

Stating that he cares about these offices, İmamoğlu said, “I expected these 3 points to act. After I have been introduced, I want a report from you almost every week after we have achieved the identity that our career unit is a bridge and brings the employer and the work force together. I want to follow this. Because we have commitments to people, “he said.
“LIVE PROBLEM UNEMPLOYMENT”
Emphasizing that the most vibrant problem currently experienced is unemployment, İmamoğlu said, “I visited tradesmen in Erzurum for a few hours yesterday. 70 of the 100 people in Erzurum ask me for work. The person there tells the IMM President about the problem of unemployment. If Istanbul says “Millions of people are unemployed,” Anatolia is burned. So what we provide here is to at least meet the right workforce when there is a ready demand. If we did that, at least we would have sprinkled water on the heart of a certain segment. This will not solve the unemployment problem, but at least have we brought together the ready workforce, this is an important service. These are our main subject ”. Imamoglu and Keskin also examined the construction of Şişli-Feriköy City Park after the employment office.
