Libya National Undersecretariat Government Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport Hisham Abu Shkewat announced that the Mitiga Airport in the capital Tripoli was missile hit by the Hafter forces and the flights were temporarily suspended after the attack.
Hafter forces have threatened to shoot down civilian aircraft approaching the region by declaring the capital city of Tripoli and its surroundings as a “no-fly zone” in recent weeks. IHA
