The ‘Idlib’ discussion struck the Çanakkale City Council held the previous day.

CHP’S GÖKHAN: THERE ORGANIZATIONS ARE SUPPORTED
Çanakkale Mayor Ülgür Gökhan, on the other hand, used the following statements, saying that there was no fight against the terrorist organization in Idlib and vice versa.
* There is no fight against the terrorist organization there.
* Conversely, terrorist organizations are supported there.
* Because Russia and the thing are fighting against those terrorist organizations. That’s why they shoot us. I’m saying that too. The other side you call.
* PKK, the PYD side is different, not there.
* They are not where we are in Syria right now.
* You do not know, you do not watch the event. PYD, PKK is in a separate place.
The debate between the two was an agenda on social media. Some users supported Gökhan, while others argued that Gökhan’s speech was wrong.
