Turkey : Citizens brought from abroad were quarantined in Sakarya

Turkish students and citizens living abroad continue to be brought to the country due to the corona virus epidemic that occurs in China and affects the whole world. Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu by 3 thousand 358 students from 7 countries will be brought to Turkey was announced. In this context, 345 students from abroad and citizens, including 2 babies, were first brought to Istanbul Airport by plane.

347 citizens who got off the plane were taken to the Sabahattin Zaim Boy Dormitory in the Serdivan district of Sakarya, with the convoy accompanied by their police, by taking the buses after their health check.

The citizens, who were downloaded from the buses one by one under large security measures at the entrance of the dormitory, were placed in separate rooms after passing through health checks and getting their information. It was learned that the officials of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the sociologists and psychologists in the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Services will provide support and citizens who will be kept under constant control will be sent to their homes after 14 days.

On the other hand, AFAD, UMKE, police and health teams will be present when citizens are placed in the country, while police teams will continue to take security measures around the country. In addition, a total of 3 thousand 358 students, announced by Minister Çavuşoğlu, will be placed in dormitories affiliated to four Credit and Dormitories Institutions, of which a total of 1,992 students are in Sakarya and have been emptied beforehand.

It was learned that 348 citizens brought today, as well as the remaining 1,66 citizens, will be brought to Sakarya in groups in the coming days and will continue to be placed in dormitories. Some students were delighted to return to their countries, while others posed for the cameras. (IHA)
