We are here, so please stay at home. ”
WHAT IS SAHRA HOSPITAL?
Field hospitals are temporary hospitals established after disasters in order to continue the treatment of patients in safe areas, which are predetermined to provide safe health services to disaster victims.
Although the World Health Organization does not recommend the establishment of a new field hospital in cases where hospitals are not damaged and their risks are not detected, hospitals are damaged or used in many disasters.
In such cases, field hospitals including administrative, hospital admissions, operational, logistics and humanitarian services units should be established in appropriate areas determined by risk analysis.
