Turkey : Quarantine market, whose employee died from ‘corona’

The corona virus was detected in Abdulbari Yolbaş, an employee of a market located in the Bahçelievler District. Yolbaş, who was treated in intensive care, died.

GOVERNOR ANNOUNCEMENT

After the corona virus was detected in some of the market employees, the governorship decided to apply quarantine to the market for 7 days.

In the statement made by the governorship, it was said:

“In order to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 outbreak, a 24-hour quarantine was applied to the quarantine as of 24 May 2020 due to the detection of the virus and the intensive customer circulation in some of the employees of the company named ‘Murat Market’ serving in Musa Atik Street in the center of Siirt, Bahçelievler District. It was decided to allow a minimum number of personnel to enter the market and to be kept under control by law enforcement and healthcare teams to respond to force majeure situations such as water and natural gas failure and disinfection procedures. ”
