The Court of Accounts once again requested the National Lottery Administration (MPI) raffles to be broadcast live from TRT. MPI’s response to the Court of Accounts had a shock effect. MPI announced that TRT had made a 679 percent hike in the live broadcast fee they demanded from them. He reported that raffles could not be published due to the dispute over the fee.
This issue will be brought to the agenda at the National Parliament General Directorate of National Lottery, which will be held today. Deniz Yavuzyilmaz, Member of the Parliamentary KIT Commission and CHP Zonguldak Deputy, stated that MPI should broadcast the raffles live, said:
* If MPI wants to build trust and reputation, it should broadcast the raffles live. However, TRT’s 679 percent increase in live broadcasting fee is unfair. TRT has 18 different channels, it should broadcast in one of the 18 channels.
* TRT should treat MPI, a public institution, with regard to the live broadcast fee. According to the ruling, inflation is 12 percent, but TRT’s hike rate is 679 percent. Is there a prearranged fight on this subject, you have to look at it.
