Turkey : Coruh froze! Mayor warns: This is not crazy, don’t walk on it

In Erzurum, which has been under the influence of Siberian cold for the last week, lakes and streams are covered with ice. Coruh River froze in Erzurum, where the lowest air temperature was below 15 to 20 degrees below zero.

Warning signs were hanged on the edges of the Çoruh river, whose surface was frozen along the border of İspir district. Periodically along the riverside ‘Attention, thin ice layer that can be broken on the water surface’ and ‘Breakable thin ice layer is dangerous’ warning signs were placed.
