According to the decision published by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the importation of electronic cigarettes and their derivatives was banned.
In the President’s decision published in the Official Gazette, “Cigarettes, shredded tobacco products, pipe tobacco products, those consumed by burning and any products including electronic cigarettes and electronic hookahs used to mimic tobacco products, whether or not containing nicotine, and electronic products used in the consumption of these products. Imports of accessories, spare parts and solutions are prohibited. The Ministry of Commerce is authorized to make arrangements for the entry and transit of the goods, the import of which is forbidden under the scope of the first paragraph, along with the passengers ”.
